I think we must be wary of lifting any virtue to be our ultimate aim. For in doing so we may tread down worthwhile others. Perhaps the virtues are meant to exist in concert. A respectful conversation of smart, healthy individuals at a table, to discern each one’s role and interplay in every circumstance. The very real, messy circumstances of living in this world.
