God's Hands Tied

Sometimes I ask, if God is all-powerful why doesn’t He just come down and fix the suffering.

But then I think, what IS causing most of the suffering in the world? And I think it’s people’s free will. And we definitely don’t want him to “fix” our free will! We’d become slaves!

So what is God’s solution for this? He sent a real human version of himself down to feed us, to heal us, even to die for us, trusting that by showing people his true character many of us would want and choose to follow him.
