I was thinking. Maybe when we constantly consume our pleasures we aren’t the happiest.
Constantly reaching from one kick to the next sounds like I’m constantly needy. But when there is peace and rhythm in my life, when I patiently anticipate the good things steadily approaching in my future, and when I fully recognize the gifts already before me, I think that is when I am the happiest.
