Being a product designer, I take pride in my creativity.
But I’ve realized lately that inventing a new product that I can proudly tell people was mine isn’t actually my job.
My job is to obey my bosses and bring my company success. It is to deliver to them exactly what they asked for and do it to the best of my creative abilities.
I’m guessing that if I can design with this in mind, not only will I feel less insulted, ignored and misunderstood, but I will be more successful, and may exude the attractive obedient aroma of Christ to the people I work with.
