I sometimes have thought that worshipping God is sort of a service we’re doing for him, so he feels great about himself. And then we hope he’ll do something in return to make us feel good too.
But I just realized that worshipping God is what we do in the moment we realize we have been given something so beautiful and worthy to be with, that we act out in our gratitude.
