Performance of Pastors

I think about how I respond when people ask “how was church?”


I usually say how well the preacher did. But I realized that although that’s fine, isn't the preacher’s purpose, and god’s purpose, and our purpose not to evaluate how well the pastor delivered the message, but how it’s changing our lives?


I want to think about this next time the pastor gets up to speak, as well as when somebody asks us afterwards, how was church?
