I have been in the habit of praying God’s will for people, whether it means tough or good times for them, because I trust he can use even the tough experiences for our good.
I still think that’s true, but I’ve found myself praying only for the good for people lately.
I’m not sure what has changed except that maybe I’ve started to see the long-lasting harm evil can do to people. And maybe I’ve realized that God doesn’t want me to sit on the sidelines and take a neutral stance on what happens to my friends. He wants me to do my part, use my will and my power of blessings not only to bring people to his kingdom, but also to invite the goodness of his kingdom into our people.
