Prayer Levy

Sometimes I’m afraid I’m asking God for too much stuff, like he can only afford to do one or two things for me each day.

But I don’t really think He has a certain number of dollars in his billfold, or only 24 hours in his days.

I think it’s more like a valve in a levy. The more we ask of him, as long as it’s the stuff he knows is really good for us, the more he is willing to flood our kingdom with His. I think the limiting factor is us; how much good we are able to take.
